Apple Pressing

The Shire and Friends had an amazing day pressing apples and pears for juice and making apple butter. The press is a hydraulic fruit press and it was slick, definitely going to rent it again next time. Hard ciders and a cyser have been started, I am excited to try them.

We had a typical SCA potluck with far too much fabulous food, wonderful conversations, and camaraderie. Thanks go out to Judy and Stuart for hosting, and everyone else for the hard work.
